The Tobacco Prevention Settlement Program (TPSP) provides a variety of prevention, cessation and enforcement services to the community. Our ultimate goals are to prevent youth, and all non-smokers, from becoming tobacco users, and to protect the public from the harmful effects of tobacco and secondhand smoke. Other program priorities include: helping smokers' break their addiction to tobacco, protecting the public from exposure to secondhand smoke, limiting minors' access to tobacco products, and creating awareness about the tobacco industry's marketing and promotional influences.
Brochures and videos on tobacco-related topics are available to the public. A list of current program resources is available upon request. Program staff will provide in-service and training to health care providers and community agencies. TPSP also responds to community complaints or questions concerning tobacco-related laws, countywide. For more information about program services and funding opportunities, please contact our office. |
