Recreational Water Illness (RWI) Prevention

This year, the week preceding Memorial Day was for the first time  designated as National Recreational Water Illness Prevention Week.

The goal of this year's recognition was to highlight the importance of healthy swimming, healthy swimming behavior, and recreational water illness prevention.  This was done by emphasizing operation and prevention tips for pool operators and pool patrons to ensure healthy swimming experience.
