National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP): www.bhpr.hrsa.gov/vicp This program enacted by Congress is a no-fault alternative to the tort system for resolving claims resulting from adverse reactions to mandated childhood vaccines.

Public Health Training Network (PHTN): www.cdc.gov/phtn PHTN is a distance-learning system that takes training to the learner using a variety of instructional media, ranging from print-based to videotape and multimedia. Vaccines Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS): www.vaers.org VAERS is a vaccine safety surveillance system of the FDA that monitors and collects data on reports of adverse events following vaccination. Immunization Action Coalition: www.immunize.org This organization publishes an array of information for health professionals and their patients about immunization. They have a newsletters (NEEDLE TIPS and VACCINATE ADULTS!), an e-mail new service (IAC EXPRESS), brochures, fact sheets, videos, and more. Print materials are free on the website.
