Over the past 20 years, research has provided substantial evidence concerning the value of a balanced diet that includes eating five servings daily of fruits and vegetables. Over 22% of our adults indicate that they sometimes, rarely, or never eat two balanced meals per day; over 84% consume less than the recommended number of fruits and vegetables; and more than 1 in 10 has been concerned about having enough food for themselves or their family in the past month.

How often do you eat at least 2 well-balanced meals per day?
While 77% of adults said they eat at least 2 well-balanced meals per day everyday or almost everyday, 23% of adults and 9% of children sometimes, rarely or never eat at least 2 balanced meals per day.

In total, about how many servings of fruit and vegetables do you have, on the average, each day?
Only 16% of adults and 10% of children get the recommended 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
